Introduction

The Newsletter Doctype is part of the Email Modul. Here we can send news to one or more Email Groups.

The Newsletter can also be shown on our ERPNext system in form of a Webpage view.

Send Now

Once we are satisfied with our newsletter and are ready to send we can do this by clicking Send -> Send Now. This is will send the Newsletter to the audience set in email_group.

Schedule sending

With this option we can setup the sending to happen in a specific time in the future. When clicking this button we will see a dialog in which we can pick a date and select the hour in which it should be sent. 

By using this we can schedule the sending to a time where we are not available.

Label	Fieldname	Explanation
Date	date	Date Picker for setting a day on which the newsletter shall be sent.
Time	time	Selection of the hour of the day set in day in which the newsletter will be sent. We can pick any full hour of the day.
